This isn’t just a fight shirt. It represents what I’m fighting for.
This Fight Shirt was created for when I step into the boxing ring at Podcast Royale 3.0 on the 26th September at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, to represent strength, resilience and the determination to stand up for people who feel their voices have been ignored.
Every picture of Purcy featured in this design represents part of my journey—the fighters, the battles, the setbacks and the people who refuse to stay silent. Throughout my early days, I deployed multiple times with the Second Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, including close protection and private contracting post my military career in countries including Afghanistan, East Timor, Papua New Guinea and Nauru.
When I steps forward wearing this shirt, I represents more than just mysellf. I’m representing fathers, parents and families who feel unheard, and everyone who has had to keep fighting when walking away would have been easier.
The words across the back say exactly what my movement is about:
THE VOICE OF THE SILENCED.
Because sometimes the biggest fights aren’t fought inside a ring or in war zones.
Some are fought in courtrooms. Some are fought behind closed doors. Some are fought just to remain part of your children’s lives.
